COVID-19 UPDATE

COVID-19 Update as of December 31, 2021:
December 31, 2021 UPDATE:
The Christian Science Reading Room at 440 Main Street, Norway is open:
Tuesdays, 1-4pm only at this time.
The Reading Room is Maine CDC compliant and requests that visitors wear a mask.
We unite with the prayers of the community for an end to the crisis. We are keenly aware of public concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus and are following the mandates of State of Maine Governor Janet Mills.
We welcome all to join our members in starting and ending your days with Psalm 91:
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
(Ps. 91:1–6, King James Version)
We unite with the prayers of the community for an end to the crisis.
- In church, maintaining proper masking techniques is suggested for the activity indoor, however it is an individual decision.
- However, in accordance with Maine CDC recommendations, we are asking SS teachers and students to continue to wear masks.
- All may want to keep a mask on hand for when children are present.
- We ask that you maintain social distances, i.e. 6 feet.
- Dress warmly, we are maintaining adequate ventilation/cracking our windows open a bit (but the heat is on). We have some blankets available.
