LEARN MORE ABOUT NATE FREDERICK, C.S.
Nate, is a Christian Science practitioner and lecturer who lives with his wife and daughter in Boothbay, ME. He is one of the many practitioners of Christian Science who dedicate their lives to helping and healing humanity through enlightened, Christ-like thought, and action. He is available 24/7 for prayerful treatment—although the best time to reach him by phone is during his office hours (generally 2-6pm ET Mon-Sat).

He works with individuals to overcome physical and mental problems through the power of universal Truth and Love. This includes addressing mental causes of dis-ease and eradicating discordant thoughts from consciousness. It's an unspeakable joy to witness people healed mentally, morally, and physically through Christian Science treatment. This treatment has no bad side effects; Nate recommends that everyone try it!  He is always happy to discuss the method and any questions that someone might have.

Interested in prayer treatment?

Some of my experiences with healing have been published in Christian Science Sentinel and Journal.

In addition to praying for people, Nate is currently a lecturer for the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. He also originated a program of two minute inspirational messages called the Daily Lift.

Other interests: He loves to play music, cook for dinner parties, hike in far-flung places, play West African Ewe polyrhythmic music, sea-kayak with his wife Laurie, goof around with his young daughter, and just love Life.

History of the Nativity Scene
Friday, December 7, 2018
4 PM
Christian Science Reading Room
& Bookstore
440 Main Street
Norway, ME 04268

The tradition of  Nativity scenes is centuries old and practiced in many countries.  The scenes are often passed down through families -- carefully packed away to be brought out for Christmas.

A short talk with slides by the Reading Room's own Sara Barnacle, M.A. Bible Studies will explore surprising similarities and differences around the world.

Come enjoy this free, nondenominational talk that will last about 15 minutes.  (Sara is happy to be around to answer questions and show slides more than once. )

The Reading Room will be open until 7 p.m. along with other Main Street, Norway stores.

Light Refreshments.

This is in conjunction with Norway's one-day promotion of the holiday shopping season. The Reading Room wished to offer an open house attraction that would tend to illuminate the universal, spiritual meaning of Christmas.

You are welcome.

2018 Talk by John Tyler:
John Tyler, CSB, spoke on
"Conflict Resolution: A Spiritual Approach." John "fought in the trenches" for civil rights in many places in the world.  He taught us how to love our enemies -- actually to stop making them enemies and solve the conflicts.  We cannot love to hate!
Find a Vimeo version of John's talk here.
2018's talk was at Deering Memorial Community Center in South Paris, Maine.  In 2013, Bear Mountain Inn in Waterford was our location and in 2014 and 2015, Camp Owatonna in Harrison, Maine. We also host talks for camp counselors and staff to help them get "prayed up" before the campers arrived.

2015 Talk by Tom McElroy:
Tom McElroy, C.S., spoke on "Purpose: Letting Your Brilliance Shine Through."  Find one version of Tom's talk on Youtube.

2014 Talk by Chet Manchester:
Chet Manchester, CSB spoke on the Sermon on the Mount, a Roadmap for Life.  Chet's been studying the SOTM for ten years and his talk was geared for all faiths and ages.  Find one version of Chet's talk on Youtube, but like a musical or play, talks are best live!

Workshops:
In April, members and friends shared ideas on the public practice of Christian Science.  Connie Coddington, CSB hosted it.
